Workouts should be fun! The warm-up for your workout shouldn’t be you mentally trying to convince yourself that you should go workout. Some of the time, that’s okay to do, but all of the time? If more often than not you have to push yourself to get to your workout, then you don’t enjoy how you’re working out. You don’t have to stick to any particular style of workout. Do what works for you because if you’re trying to build a lifestyle change on the foundation of something you don’t even like to do, that lifestyle change won’t stick. Remember, kids like recess because it’s fun. Workouts are the adult equivalent of recess so make it fun!
