It started Sunday, snowed all day Monday and had sort of stopped by Tuesday morning. As Tuesday went on if you looked outside you’d see snow falling, but I couldn’t tell if it was snow or the wind blowing snow off trees.

Just a little overshare: I work reception and one of my responsibilities is answering the phone. Sometimes I’ll have a customer in front of me and so when that happens, all I need to do is tell the customer on the phone to hold if I can’t talk to them. Anyway, I was running a credit card for the customer in front of me and I had another customer waiting on the phone. After printing the customer in front of me’s receipt, where I usually ask them to sign the receipt, I said with ALL THE CONFIDENCE IN THE WORLD “Thank you for holding”. I was so embarrassed. I can laugh at it now, but each time I do my soul also dies a little.
